Job Description

At DuPont, we are looking for a creative and innovative individual to join our Product Development team as an Engineer. Our ideal candidate has a passion for developing cutting-edge products and possesses the technical background and skills necessary to turn ideas into reality. The Product Development Engineer will work closely with other members of the team to design and develop new products, analyze and improve existing products, and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate must also possess strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. A successful Product Development Engineer must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop new products to meet customer needs and specifications.
  2. Analyze and improve existing products to ensure they meet all safety and quality standards.
  3. Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve product design issues.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful product development.
  5. Generate product lifecycle plans and evaluate the effectiveness of products.
  6. Monitor and report on project progress and milestones.
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  9. Maintain accurate records of product development activities.
