  1. Lead and manage the development of new products from concept to commercialization.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities for new product development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and manufacturing to develop and execute product development strategies.
  4. Utilize scientific and engineering expertise to drive innovation and develop new and improved products.
  5. Design and conduct experiments to test product performance and validate feasibility.
  6. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the success of product development.
  8. Stay current with industry developments and advancements in technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.
  10. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on product development progress and address any concerns or issues.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to support product development activities.
  13. Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams to promote and sell new products.
  14. Continuously monitor and analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvements or modifications.
  15. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all product development activities.
  16. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed of emerging trends and technologies.
  17. Collaborate with intellectual property teams to protect and secure any relevant patents or trademarks.
  18. Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the R&D team.
  19. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  20. Represent the company and its values in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Science Or Engineering: A Principal Scientist/Engineer At Dupont Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Chemistry, Materials Science, Or Chemical Engineering. A Phd Degree Is Preferred.

  • Extensive R&D Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Research And Development Role, Preferably In The Area Of Product Development. They Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successful Development And Commercialization Of New Products.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: As A Principal Scientist/Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Scientists And Engineers. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Are Essential.

  • Technical Expertise: Dupont Is A Leading Science And Engineering Company, And Candidates For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Science And Engineering Principles, As Well As A Strong Technical Background In Their Area Of Expertise.
