Job Description

Are you a Material Quality and Supplier Management Engineer looking for an opportunity to work with a global leader in the innovative materials industry? DuPont is looking for an experienced professional to join our team and take our material quality and supplier management initiatives to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for providing the technical expertise and leadership necessary to ensure that our suppliers are consistently providing the highest quality materials and services while meeting customer requirements. You will be part of a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about driving excellence in our supply chain.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience in material quality management and supplier management, and a proven track record of delivering results. You must also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of the principles of lean manufacturing. Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a technical expert and leader in material quality and supplier management.
  2. Monitor and assess supplier performance and ensure that materials and services consistently meet customer requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that quality standards are met.
  4. Develop and implement strategies for improving supplier management and material quality.
  5. Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  6. Analyze and report on supplier performance and escalate any potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
  7. Monitor and review supplier performance metrics and take appropriate corrective action.
  8. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of supplier relationships.
  9. Develop and manage supplier scorecards and ensure that suppliers are meeting agreed upon requirements.
  10. Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
  11. Monitor and evaluate industry trends and best practices related to supplier management and material quality.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that material quality and supplier management initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
