As a Material Quality and Supplier Management Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving processes related to supplier management, materials, and overall quality assurance.The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in engineering, preferably in materials science, and at least five years of experience in a quality assurance role. You should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent problem-solver. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and improve processes related to supplier management, materials, and overall quality assurance.
  2. Monitor and assess supplier performance.
  3. Establish and maintain quality standards.
  4. Ensure that materials and products meet quality requirements.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers on quality improvement initiatives.
  6. Implement quality assurance tools, such as statistical process control.
  7. Train and mentor quality assurance personnel.
  8. Analyze data and produce reports to monitor quality performance.
  9. Track and trend quality performance metrics.
  10. Investigate customer complaints and determine root cause.
  11. Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  12. Develop and update quality control procedures.
