
Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
At DuPont, we are looking for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team. The EHS Specialist will also provide technical assistance to DuPont operations and personnel in the areas of safety, health, and environmental compliance.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or Chemistry, and at least 5 years of related experience. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs that align with DuPont’s policies and standards. • Provide technical assistance to DuPont operations and personnel in the areas of safety, health, and environmental compliance. • Monitor safety, health, and environmental trends and ensure DuPont’s compliance with relevant regulations. • Ensure proper safety equipment is in place and regularly inspect to ensure it is in good working order. • Develop and provide safety, health, and environmental training to DuPont personnel. • Investigate incidents and ensure proper documentation is completed. • Monitor and review safety performance indicators to identify areas of improvement. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and government agencies. • Prepare and submit reports to government agencies as required.
