Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to safety and environmental health in compliance with all applicable regulations.
2. Conduct safety and environmental health risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
3. Educate employees on safety and environmental health policies and procedures and provide training as needed.
4. Monitor employee health and safety and investigate any reported incidents or accidents.
5. Develop and implement emergency plans and protocols in the event of an accident or hazardous incident.
6. Develop and update safety policies and procedures as necessary.
7. Monitor and report safety performance metrics.
8. Develop and implement safety-related programs such as hazard recognition and prevention.
9. Maintain records of safety and environmental health activities.
10. Liaise with external agencies regarding safety and environmental health matters.
