Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

You must also be an effective communicator and have the ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures that are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Monitor and audit safety and environmental compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
3. Conduct regular safety and environmental training for staff and ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and preventative measures.
5. Develop and maintain hazardous waste management systems.
6. Research and analyze new safety and environmental regulations and update current policies accordingly.
7. Work with other departments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
8. Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
9. Develop and maintain safety and environmental records and reports.
10. Provide technical support to other staff and company departments in relation to safety and environmental compliance.
