  1. Develop and implement automation strategies to improve manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
  2. Design, program, and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation and process control systems.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for automation systems.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in all automation and process control activities.
  7. Monitor and analyze process data to identify areas for optimization and troubleshoot any issues.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including operating procedures and technical specifications.
  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on automation and process control systems.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in automation and process control technology.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders to provide updates on projects and address any concerns.
  12. Adhere to project timelines and budgets for automation and process control projects.
  13. Continuously look for ways to improve automation and process control systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
  15. Represent DuPont in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Degree In A Relevant Engineering Field Such As Chemical, Electrical, Or Mechanical Engineering Is Required For This Role.

  • Experience In Automation And Process Control: Candidates Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Automation Systems And Process Control In A Manufacturing Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Automation And Process Control, Such As Ansi/Isa-88 And Fda Guidelines, Is Important For Ensuring Compliance And Safety In The Manufacturing Process.

  • Proficiency In Automation Software And Programming Languages: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Automation Software Such As Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Or Emerson, As Well As Proficiency In Programming Languages Like Plc, Hmi, And Dcs.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Automation And Process Control Engineers Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Troubleshoot Issues In Real-Time To Ensure Efficient And Effective Operation Of Manufacturing Processes. Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Attention To Detail Are Essential For This Role.
