Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Backend Product Software Engineer to join our team at Dropbox. As a Senior Backend Product Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative, highly scalable backend solutions that help power Dropbox’s products.To be successful in this role, you’ll need a strong technical background in software engineering and product development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with other teams. You should also have a deep understanding of backend software development, with experience of developing web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.We’re looking for a passionate, driven individual who’s excited to take on the challenge of developing the world’s most reliable, secure, and user-friendly products. Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative, highly scalable backend software solutions to power Dropbox products • Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful completion of projects • Design and implement web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure • Ensure that all code developed is secure, reliable, and user-friendly • Document all software development processes • Troubleshoot any issues that arise • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in software engineering and product development • Proactively identify and address potential product issues and risks
