Protecting Dropbox and our users is critical to being worthy of trust. We’re looking for a Data Privacy Support Specialist to join the Global Support team within the Customer Experience Organization. Engaging within the legal department to understand the privacy risks of products and business processes Building operational excellence in how we respond to user enquiries on privacy and account security issues so that Dropbox continues to be worthy of our users trust. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to operate, validate, and remediate privacy controls. Responding to customers directly via: tickets, phones, and chat. Tracking internal controls and promoting privacy best practices for customer, employee, partner, and vendor personal information.
Proven experience in a customer facing Support/Technical Support capacity
Working knowledge of global privacy regulations, standards, and frameworks
Ability to interpret Privacy requests, respond in an accurate and timely fashion and escalate as needed
Process-focused with a keen focus on detail and flawless execution
CIPP, CISA, CISSP, CCSK, or other professional certifications/associations a plus
