  1. Design and develop scalable and reliable backend systems that power Dropbox products and services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand product requirements.
  3. Write clean, efficient and maintainable code in various programming languages.
  4. Implement and maintain data storage solutions to support the growing needs of our products.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues in the backend infrastructure, ensuring high performance and uptime.
  6. Conduct thorough testing and documentation of backend systems to ensure quality and stability.
  7. Stay updated with industry developments and trends to continuously improve and innovate our backend systems.
  8. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality and timely solutions.
  9. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  10. Take ownership of projects and drive them from concept to production.
  11. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of backend systems.
  12. Maintain and update technical documentation for internal and external use.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development process.
  14. Continuously optimize and improve existing backend systems for better performance and scalability.
