
Lab Machinist
The Lab Machinist at Drexel University will be an integral part of the research and development team in the Mechanical Engineering Department. We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual that is passionate about helping to create and maintain the highest level of precision machinery in our world-class facilities. The successful candidate must possess a strong knowledge of mechanical and machining principles, have a genuine interest in learning new technology, and be able to work well with colleagues to ensure that the lab runs efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at least five years of experience in a lab setting, and a background in CNC programming, machining, and troubleshooting.
