Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational setting- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices- Strong leadership and team management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficient in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and facility management software- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between campus locations as needed

  1. Oversee the maintenance and operations of all facilities on Drexel University campus.
  2. Ensure that all facilities are kept in a safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing condition.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules for all facilities.
  4. Monitor and maintain compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  5. Supervise and manage a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.
  7. Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
  8. Coordinate and oversee all construction and renovation projects on campus.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facilities management, including work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
  10. Utilize facility management software to track maintenance requests, work orders, and inventory.
  11. Respond to and resolve any facilities-related emergencies or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors for facilities-related services.
  13. Act as a liaison between facilities and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  14. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into facilities management strategies.
  15. Promote a culture of customer service excellence by addressing and resolving any facilities-related concerns or complaints from the Drexel community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Excellent Organizational And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
