Job Description

Drexel University is seeking an experienced Counselor / Academic Coach to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to work with a diverse population of students and to be part of a community dedicated to helping our students succeed. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and committed individual who is passionate about student success.The Counselor / Academic Coach will be responsible for providing comprehensive counseling and academic coaching services to students, including individual and group counseling, academic planning, and referral services. The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to provide effective counseling, academic coaching and advisement, and will have the ability to work collegially and collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.Qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field, a minimum of three years of experience in counseling or academic advising, and experience with a variety of counseling approaches. In addition to the qualifications listed, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a commitment to student success, and have the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.We invite applicants who possess the knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm to join our team and provide outstanding student support.
