- Provide support to healthcare professionals by performing administrative and clinical tasks.
- Assist with patient intake and scheduling appointments, ensuring efficient flow of patients through the department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and other relevant information.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Take and record vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Applicants Must Have Graduated From A Recognized Medical Assistant Program And Hold A Diploma Or Certificate.
Active Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Cma Certification From The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Have Experience With Various Medical Procedures Such As Phlebotomy, Ekg, And Medication Administration.
Experience In A Clinical Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Medical Office, Hospital, Or Other Clinical Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) And Patient Scheduling.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant At Drexel University, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
