  1. Oversee the financial operations of the athletics department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  2. Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support the growth and success of the athletics program.
  3. Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
  4. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue-generating opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with other departments within the university to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  7. Serve as a liaison between the athletics department and external partners, including sponsors, vendors, and donors.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
  9. Communicate financial information and updates to the athletics department staff and university leadership.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate the business operations of the athletics department.
  11. Represent the athletics department in meetings, conferences, and other events related to financial operations.
  12. Hire, train, and manage a team of finance and administrative staff to support the department's financial operations.
  13. Ensure compliance with NCAA and conference regulations related to financial operations.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate financial processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  15. Adhere to and promote the university's mission, values, and code of conduct.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Athletic Administration, Preferably In A Business Operations Role.

  • Strong Financial Management Skills, Including Budgeting, Forecasting, And Financial Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working With Compliance And Eligibility Requirements.
