- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with university policies and procedures.
- Assist with the registration process for incoming and current students, ensuring compliance with academic requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure accurate course information and availability for registration.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff regarding registration, academic records, and other related inquiries.
- Manage transcript requests and other student record inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of student record management.
- Conduct audits of student records to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of student records in accordance with FERPA regulations.
- Support graduation processes, including degree audits and diploma distribution.
- Collaborate with other departments and offices on campus to ensure accurate and efficient transfer credit evaluations.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in registrar services, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Train and mentor new staff members on registrar processes and procedures.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the Registrar or other administrative staff.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Or Business Administration.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Higher Education, Preferably In A Registrar's Office Or Related Department.
Strong Knowledge Of Academic Policies And Procedures, Including Registration, Transcripts, And Degree Requirements.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Students, Faculty, And Staff.
Familiarity With Student Information Systems, Such As Banner Or Peoplesoft, And Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software.
