- Design, develop and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines for DoorDash's rapidly growing business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Utilize your expertise in problem solving and data analysis to identify and address issues in data pipelines
- Optimize data infrastructure to improve performance and reliability
- Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in data engineering and continuously look for opportunities to improve our processes
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
- Work closely with product and business teams to understand data needs and provide insights to drive business decisions
- Keep up with industry trends and developments in data engineering to identify potential areas for improvement and innovation within DoorDash's data infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team discussions and make recommendations for process improvements
- Contribute to the overall technical architecture and roadmap for data engineering at DoorDash.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Development, With A Focus On Data Engineering.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Scala.
Strong Understanding Of Data Structures, Algorithms, And Distributed Systems.
