  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top technical talent in the highly competitive tech industry.
  2. Act as a brand ambassador for DoorDash, promoting our mission, values, and culture to potential candidates.
  3. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  4. Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure they meet the technical and cultural requirements of the company.
  5. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the desired skills and experience.
  6. Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates through ongoing relationship building and networking within the tech community.
  7. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to offer stage, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  8. Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
  9. Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruitment to identify areas for improvement and innovation within our recruitment process.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert in technical recruitment, providing guidance and support to junior recruiters and hiring managers as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Technical Recruiting: A Senior Technical Recruiter At Doordash Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Technical Recruiting, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Technology And Industry Trends: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Technology Landscape And Industry Trends, Including Programming Languages, Frameworks, And Emerging Technologies.

  • Ability To Source And Attract Top Talent: As A Senior Technical Recruiter, The Ability To Identify And Attract Top Talent Is Crucial. This Includes Leveraging Various Sourcing Strategies, Building And Maintaining A Network Of Potential Candidates, And Staying Updated On Industry News And Events.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Senior Technical Recruiter Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Potential Candidates, Hiring Managers, And Other Stakeholders. This Includes The Ability To Conduct Effective Interviews, Negotiate Job Offers, And Build Relationships With Candidates.

  • Experience With Applicant Tracking Systems And Recruiting Tools: Familiarity With Applicant Tracking Systems (Ats) And Other Recruiting Tools Is Essential For A Senior Technical Recruiter At Doordash. This Includes The Ability To Utilize Data And Analytics To Track Recruiting Metrics And Optimize The Hiring Process.
