  5. Take ownership of the development and maintenance of storage-related tools and processes.

  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for storage infrastructure.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to storage infrastructure.
  10. Collaborate with other teams, such as product and operations, to ensure seamless integration of storage infrastructure with other systems.
  11. Develop and maintain documentation for storage infrastructure processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Storage Infrastructure: A Senior Software Engineer For Storage Infrastructure At Doordash Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Scalable And Reliable Storage Solutions In A High-Volume Environment.

  • Strong Programming Skills: Advanced Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And C++ Is Essential For A Senior Software Engineer In This Role. They Must Be Able To Write Efficient And Maintainable Code To Support The Storage Infrastructure Needs Of Doordash.

  • Knowledge Of Distributed Systems: Doordash Operates In A Distributed Environment, And A Senior Software Engineer Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Distributed Systems And Their Design Principles. They Should Be Able To Architect And Implement Solutions That Can Handle Large Amounts Of Data Across Multiple Nodes.

  • Expertise In Cloud Technologies: As Doordash Uses Cloud-Based Infrastructure, A Senior Software Engineer Must Have Hands-On Experience With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Gcp. They Should Be Able To Leverage These Technologies To Optimize Storage Performance And Cost.
