  1. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions for our iOS platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our mobile applications.
  3. Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  5. Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends and technologies, and suggest ways to implement them in our applications.
  6. Continuously optimize and improve the performance of our iOS applications.
  7. Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and provide technical insights and recommendations.
  8. Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.
  9. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide progress updates and discuss technical solutions.
  11. Ensure all code and documentation are properly maintained and adhere to best practices.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks in the development process.
  13. Take ownership of deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  14. Collaborate with other teams to integrate backend services and APIs into our iOS applications.
  15. Participate in the recruitment process and provide technical insights during interviews for new team members.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Ios Development: A Senior Software Engineer For Ios Infrastructure At Doordash Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Ios Development, With A Strong Understanding Of Ios Architecture, Frameworks, And Apis.

  • Proficiency In Swift And Objective-C: An Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Both Swift And Objective-C Programming Languages, And The Ability To Write Clear, Efficient, And Reusable Code.

  • Experience With Building And Maintaining Large-Scale Applications: The Role Requires Experience With Building And Maintaining Large-Scale Ios Applications, With A Strong Focus On Scalability, Performance, And Reliability.

  • Knowledge Of Ios Infrastructure And Tools: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ios Infrastructure And Tools, Including Xcode, Interface Builder, Instruments, And Other Debugging And Profiling Tools.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Mentor Junior Engineers, And Present Technical Ideas To Stakeholders.
