As the Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and retaining top talent to support our rapid growth.   1. Lead the development and implementation of talent development strategies and programs to support the company's rapid growth.
  2. Identify top talent within the organization and create development plans to nurture their skills and potential.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and HR to assess organizational needs and create targeted development initiatives.
  4. Develop and manage talent development budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  5. Utilize data and metrics to measure the success and impact of talent development programs.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in talent development to continuously improve and innovate our programs.
  7. Conduct regular training and workshops to improve leadership capabilities, employee engagement, and overall performance.
  8. Build strong relationships with employees at all levels to understand their career goals and provide guidance and support.
  9. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within talent development programs to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  10. Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  11. Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure a strong pipeline of talent is available for critical roles.
  12. Monitor and address any performance gaps or talent development needs within the organization.
  13. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on talent development initiatives and their impact on the organization.
  14. Create and maintain talent development policies and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
  15. Represent the company at industry events and conferences related to talent development to stay informed and network with other professionals in the field.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Talent Development: A Senior Manager, Talent Development At Doordash Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Talent Development Programs And Initiatives In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.

  • Strong Leadership And People Management Skills: This Role Requires A Leader Who Can Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Talent Development Professionals, While Also Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Management To Achieve Business Goals.

  • Expertise In Designing And Delivering Training Programs: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies, With A Track Record Of Designing And Delivering Successful Training Programs For Employees At All Levels.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires The Ability To Think Strategically And Identify Talent Development Opportunities That Align With The Company's Goals And Culture. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Challenges That May Arise.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Senior Manager, Talent Development Will Be Responsible For Communicating Effectively With Various Stakeholders, Including Employees, Managers, And Executives. The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication Skills And The Ability To Influence And Build Relationships At All Levels Of The Organization.
