  1. Develop and implement talent development strategies and initiatives that align with the overall goals and objectives of DoorDash.
  2. Design and deliver innovative and engaging training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees.
  3. Identify and assess talent development needs across the organization through data analysis, surveys, and feedback.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in talent development efforts.
  5. Lead and manage a team of talent development professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  6. Track and measure the effectiveness of talent development programs and initiatives, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent development to incorporate into the company's strategies.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance talent development offerings.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert on talent development, providing guidance and support to leaders and employees.
  10. Communicate and report on talent development initiatives and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  11. Foster a culture of learning and development within the organization.
  12. Adhere to budget and resource allocation for talent development initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Talent Development: A Senior Manager, Talent Development Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Talent Development, Including Designing And Implementing Training Programs, Managing Performance Evaluations, And Developing Career Development Plans.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Training And Development Professionals, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders Across The Organization.

  • Strategic Mindset: The Senior Manager, Talent Development Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Align Talent Development Initiatives With The Overall Business Goals Of Doordash.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Position Involves Working Closely With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization, As Well As External Partners And Vendors. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Convey Ideas, Build Relationships, And Collaborate With Others.
