Operations Research Scientist
As an Operations Research Scientist at DoorDash, you’ll dive into a wealth of delivery data to solve the Vehicle Routing Problem at the core of the business. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to build sophisticated, production-ready algorithms for real-time and dynamic fulfillment. Develop and implement production algorithms for our core logistics engine to solve real-world, NP-hard problems. Analyze a uniquely rich dataset to derive insights and inspire experiments. Run and iterate on real-world tests, collecting data points across the entirety of the DoorDash's rapidly growing marketplace. Partner closely with teams across DoorDash, including engineering, data science product, business operations, and more.
3+ years of industry experience
Experience working with Vehicle Routing Problems in an industry setting
