- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the safety and trust of the DoorDash platform.
- Lead a team of trust and safety professionals to monitor and respond to potential threats and violations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Operations, and Product, to drive initiatives that enhance user safety and trust.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in trust and safety, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Create and deliver training programs to educate employees, dashers, and merchants on trust and safety policies and protocols.
- Manage and resolve escalated trust and safety issues, including fraud, harassment, and other violations of company policies.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on trust and safety efforts and address any concerns or questions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement and industry organizations, to enhance the security and integrity of the platform.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify patterns and trends, and use insights to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
- Uphold company values of transparency and accountability, and ensure all trust and safety processes are fair and consistent.
- Continuously review and update trust and safety policies to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador by promoting a positive user experience and building trust within the DoorDash community.
- Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and advance their careers in trust and safety management.
- Work with the leadership team to set goals and objectives for the trust and safety department and track progress towards achieving them.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Law, Criminal Justice, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role Within A Trust And Safety Department, Preferably In The Technology Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Related To Trust And Safety, Such As Fraud Prevention, Data Privacy, And Dispute Resolution.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Develop A Team Of Trust And Safety Specialists.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Abilities With A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management And Mitigation Strategies.
