- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to inform communication strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers to secure coverage and endorsements for DoorDash's consumer products.
- Serve as the main point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests related to DoorDash's consumer products.
- Develop and manage a budget for consumer product communications initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging communication technologies and trends to continuously improve and innovate communication strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Public Relations Or Communications, Preferably In The Consumer Product Industry.
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Create Compelling Messaging For Various Audiences.
Experience Managing A Team And Working Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product, Marketing, And Legal Departments.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Communication Strategies, Including Media Relations, Crisis Communications, And Influencer Partnerships.
