This Machine Learning Engineer Intern role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related fields. Applicants should have experience in Machine Learning algorithms and techniques, as well as a strong understanding of data engineering and analytics. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement innovative Machine Learning algorithms and techniques to improve DoorDash’s data-driven decisions.
  2. Collaborate with other stakeholders to design and execute efficient and effective data engineering and analytics projects.
  3. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development process.
  4. Design and implement tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Machine Learning systems.
  5. Monitor the performance of the Machine Learning systems and provide recommendations for improvement.
  6. Communicate effectively with other teams to ensure that the Machine Learning systems are being used appropriately.
  7. Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in Machine Learning.
