Litigation Counsel
Own a broad portfolio of litigation and pre-litigation matters in a wide range of practice areas and in numerous jurisdictions across the country. Take a hands-on approach to all facets of litigation, including responding to subpoenas and discovery requests, drafting and revising legal briefs, interviewing witnesses, preparing witnesses for testimony, and negotiating and drafting settlements. Manage all aspects of outside counsel relationships, including staffing, litigation strategy, work product, and budgets. Advise business partners to proactively address and resolve potential disputes while supporting business objectives. Devise scalable processes and procedures to help support a rapidly-growing business.
4+ years of broad litigation experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house, handling complex commercial litigation
Familiar with e-discovery issues, including document retention policies and procedures; collection, review, and production of documents
Able to craft legal solutions in novel ways, provide practical advice and properly balance risks and business reward.
Prior in-house experience at a technology or sharing economy company a plus
