- Develop and implement fraud prevention and detection strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Identify, evaluate and implement solutions to mitigate risks and prevent fraudulent activities on the DoorDash platform.
- Lead a team of product managers and analysts to continuously improve fraud prevention measures.
- Stay updated on the latest fraud trends and techniques to ensure our strategies are effective.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement fraud detection and prevention tools and features.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support fraud prevention efforts.
- Monitor and report on fraud rates and trends to senior management.
- Conduct regular trainings and workshops for internal teams to increase awareness and understanding of fraud prevention.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to address and resolve fraud-related customer inquiries and issues.
- Continuously evaluate and improve fraud prevention processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to fraud prevention.
- Represent DoorDash in industry events and conferences related to fraud prevention.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute fraud prevention campaigns.
- Set goals and objectives for the fraud prevention team and track progress towards them.
Experience In Fraud Prevention: The Ideal Candidate For The Director, Product, Fraud Position At Doordash Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Fraud Prevention Strategies And Systems In Previous Roles. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Fraud Trends And Threats In The Industry And Be Able To Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate Risks.
Product Management Expertise: As A Director Of Product, Fraud, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading The Development And Implementation Of Fraud Prevention Products And Features. They Should Have Extensive Experience In Product Management, Including Defining Product Roadmaps, Creating Product Specifications, And Overseeing Product Launches.
Data Analysis Skills: Doordash Is A Data-Driven Company, And The Director, Product, Fraud Will Be Expected To Use Data To Identify Fraud Patterns And Make Data-Driven Decisions. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Data Analysis Tools And Have Experience Working With Large Datasets.
Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Will Require The Director, Product, Fraud To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering, Data Science, And Legal, To Develop And Implement Fraud Prevention Strategies. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage The Team And Communicate With Stakeholders.
