- Monitor and analyze security-related data to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and potential security incidents.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the security posture of DoorDash.
- Act as a liaison with external security partners and law enforcement agencies, as needed.
- Communicate security-related issues, updates, and incidents to key stakeholders, including senior management.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility among all employees.
- Respond to security incidents and lead the incident response process, including post-incident analysis and remediation.
- Manage and maintain security systems and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
- Develop and manage the security operations budget, including forecasting and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize security operations and increase efficiency.
- Uphold the highest standards for data privacy and protection of customer information.
- Continuously assess and improve the security posture of the DoorDash platform, services, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with external security researchers and bug bounty programs to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities.
- Act as a key point of contact for security-related inquiries from customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Represent DoorDash at industry conferences and events, sharing insights and best practices on security operations.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and development within the security operations team.
Extensive Experience In Security Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Security Operations, With A Strong Understanding Of Security Principles, Technologies, And Best Practices.
Proven Leadership Skills: As A Director Of Security Operations, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Security Professionals. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team, Are Essential.
