  1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support DoorDash's growth and profitability goals.
  2. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes.
  3. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial planning.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential risks.
  5. Manage the financial planning and reporting for all DoorDash business units, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  6. Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the financial health and success of the company.
  7. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, and identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
  8. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors and provide regular updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  10. Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and market dynamics to inform financial strategies and decision-making.
  12. Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term strategic plans aligned with DoorDash's mission and vision.
  13. Represent DoorDash at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's financial strength and growth potential.
  14. Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems to support the company's rapid growth and evolving needs.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Growth And Profitability: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Demonstrated Ability To Identify And Capitalize On Growth Opportunities, While Also Managing Costs And Improving Overall Profitability.

  • Experience In The Technology Or E-Commerce Industry: Doordash Is A Rapidly Growing Technology And E-Commerce Company, So Experience In This Sector Is Highly Desired. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape And The Ability To Stay Ahead Of Industry Trends.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Inspire A Team, As Well As Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams. The Director, Finance & Strategy Should Have Experience Managing A Team And Driving Results Through Others.
