In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all competition and litigation matters for our rapidly growing company.   1. Develop and implement strategies to efficiently and effectively handle all competition and litigation matters for DoorDash.
  2. Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments related to competition and litigation.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform legal strategies and decisions.
  4. Oversee and manage a team of legal professionals to ensure timely and accurate handling of all competition and litigation matters.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to provide legal guidance and support on competition and litigation issues.
  6. Advise and educate internal stakeholders on potential legal risks and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.
  7. Prepare and review legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and motions, to support litigation efforts.
  8. Communicate with external legal counsel and manage relationships with outside counsel.
  9. Represent DoorDash in court and other legal proceedings as needed.
  10. Monitor and track legal expenses related to competition and litigation matters.
  11. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the status of ongoing competition and litigation matters.
  12. Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures related to competition and litigation management.
  13. Conduct training and educational sessions for employees on competition and litigation-related topics.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in competition and litigation management and share insights with the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Competition Law And Litigation: The Ideal Candidate For A Director, Competition & Litigation Role At Doordash Should Have A Strong Background In Competition Law And Litigation, With A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Relevant Experience. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Antitrust Laws And Regulations, As Well As Experience In Managing Complex Litigation Matters.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Director, Competition & Litigation, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Legal Risks And Develop Effective Strategies To Mitigate Them. The Candidate Must Be Able To Clearly And Concisely Communicate Legal Concepts To Both Legal And Non-Legal Stakeholders, And Build Strong Relationships With Internal And External Partners.
