- Develop and implement strategies to efficiently and effectively handle all competition and litigation matters for DoorDash.
- Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments related to competition and litigation.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform legal strategies and decisions.
- Oversee and manage a team of legal professionals to ensure timely and accurate handling of all competition and litigation matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to provide legal guidance and support on competition and litigation issues.
- Advise and educate internal stakeholders on potential legal risks and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.
- Prepare and review legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and motions, to support litigation efforts.
- Communicate with external legal counsel and manage relationships with outside counsel.
- Represent DoorDash in court and other legal proceedings as needed.
- Monitor and track legal expenses related to competition and litigation matters.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the status of ongoing competition and litigation matters.
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures related to competition and litigation management.
- Conduct training and educational sessions for employees on competition and litigation-related topics.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in competition and litigation management and share insights with the team.
Extensive Experience In Competition Law And Litigation: The Ideal Candidate For A Director, Competition & Litigation Role At Doordash Should Have A Strong Background In Competition Law And Litigation, With A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Relevant Experience. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Antitrust Laws And Regulations, As Well As Experience In Managing Complex Litigation Matters.
