
Associate, Vendor Management
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate, Vendor Management to join our team at DoorDash. This position is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact on our company, and the successful candidate will need to be an organized, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for problem solving.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in a vendor management role, preferably in a customer service environment. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to develop effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other departments within the organization. Additionally, the Associate, Vendor Management will be a creative thinker who is comfortable working independently and can demonstrate the ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in all interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and other departments within the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against service-level agreements.
- Develop and maintain vendor management processes and procedures.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure they are in compliance with company policies.
- Analyze vendor contracts and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and manage vendor budgets and expenses.
- Develop and recommend strategies to improve vendor operations.
- Resolve vendor disputes and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain detailed records of vendor relationships.
- Utilize industry knowledge to identify potential vendors and evaluate their services.
