Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate, Vendor Management to join our team at DoorDash. This position is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact on our company, and the successful candidate will need to be an organized, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for problem solving.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in a vendor management role, preferably in a customer service environment. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to develop effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other departments within the organization. Additionally, the Associate, Vendor Management will be a creative thinker who is comfortable working independently and can demonstrate the ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and other departments within the organization.
  2. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against service-level agreements.
  3. Develop and maintain vendor management processes and procedures.
  4. Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure they are in compliance with company policies.
  5. Analyze vendor contracts and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Monitor and manage vendor budgets and expenses.
  7. Develop and recommend strategies to improve vendor operations.
  8. Resolve vendor disputes and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Maintain detailed records of vendor relationships.
  10. Utilize industry knowledge to identify potential vendors and evaluate their services.
