
Associate, Vendor Management
We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate, Vendor Management to join our team at DoorDash. This position is critical to our operations and requires an individual with strong communication and analytical skills. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our relationships with external vendors, maintaining our database of vendors, and ensuring the accuracy of vendor performance and payment data.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in vendor management. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and other relevant software.If you’re an excellent communicator and problem solver with a passion for maintaining good vendor relationships, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors.
- Manage vendor onboarding and contract renewals.
- Analyze vendor performance and payment data to ensure accuracy.
- Create and maintain vendor database.
- Resolve vendor issues or disputes.
- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual agreements.
- Negotiate vendor contracts.
- Provide support for the procurement process.
- Analyze vendor performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Track vendor performance and payment information.
- Prepare reports on vendor performance and payment data.
- Prepare presentations on vendor performance and payment data.
- Manage vendor inquiries and requests.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
