Job Description

Our Technical Store Support team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team in the role of Technical Store Support. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric attitude.   1. Provide technical support to stores to ensure smooth operation and optimal customer experience.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by stores, including hardware, software, and networking problems.
  3. Conduct regular maintenance and updates on store equipment and technology.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and Operations, to implement new technology and systems in stores.
  5. Train store employees on how to use and troubleshoot technology and equipment.
  6. Monitor and analyze store technology performance to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Communicate with vendors and external technical support teams to resolve more complex issues.
  8. Maintain documentation of technical procedures and troubleshooting guides for store employees.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and support to stores, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  11. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to store technology.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols, when handling sensitive information and equipment.
  13. Travel to stores as needed to provide in-person technical support.
  14. Collaborate with the Technical Store Support team to share knowledge and best practices.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve store technology and support processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Computer Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Computer Systems And Hardware, Including Troubleshooting And Basic Programming Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Systems: Familiarity With Point-Of-Sale (Pos) Systems, Inventory Management Software, And Other Retail-Specific Technology Is Essential For This Role.

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Provide Top-Notch Customer Support And Assist Store Employees With Technical Issues.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The Job Requires The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Problems, Often Under Pressure, While Maintaining A Professional And Helpful Demeanor.

  • Prior Technical Support Experience: Previous Experience In A Technical Support Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Customer Service Setting, Is A Valuable Qualification For This Job.
