As a Sales Floor Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. - Greet and welcome customers to the store with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist customers in finding and selecting merchandise, providing product information and answering any questions.
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor to ensure shelves are fully stocked and presentable.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including rotating and facing products and keeping aisles clear.
- Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock or out-of-stock items to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including proper handling of cash and merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or complaints.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols to maintain a safe working and shopping environment.
- Attend and actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and promotions in the store.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities and complete them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
Strong Communication Skills: A Sales Floor Associate At Dollar Tree Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Promote Sales.
Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In Customer Service Is Highly Desirable For This Role As It Involves Assisting And Addressing Customer Needs And Complaints.
Product Knowledge: A Good Understanding Of Dollar Tree's Products And Services Is Important For A Sales Floor Associate To Accurately Answer Customer Inquiries And Make Appropriate Recommendations.
Physical Stamina: This Role Involves Standing For Long Periods, Stocking Shelves, And Lifting And Moving Merchandise, So Physical Stamina Is Necessary For A Sales Floor Associate To Perform Their Duties Effectively.
