Payroll Associate

Responsible for timely and accurate payroll processing. Reviews reports, identifies issues and corrects entries to ensure payroll accuracy. Works closely with store management to ensure all requests for manual entries have proper approval and proper back-up documentation prior to processing. Verifies benefit time accruals and ensures accurate payment in accordance with state regulations. Edits and reviews Compass/Kronos time records for discrepancies and adjusts accordingly. Processes manual checks, replacement checks and paid outs ensuring accurate recordation, record keeping and calculation in compliance with all state, federal and SOX regulations. Updates banking institution data with same. Assists in banking matters. Places stop pays in banking institution. Calculates and processes retroactive pay. Assists with bi-weekly payroll processing for all locations and entities. Provides documentation/research on payroll data when required.
