Ensure that each supplier and merchant understands the role of Family Dollar Marketing Planning and established programs. Manage the CPG/brand relationship in regards to shopper marketing and serve as the liaison for those projects between merchandising and marketing. Represent Marketing Planning in major Merchandising meetings, supplier reviews, etc. Drive awareness of major promotional campaigns in merchandising to ensure their inclusion in promotional events. Work with analytics partners to develop and present historical analyses of prior promotional events (i.e. last year, competitor activity, etc.) to assist the merchandising organization in identifying promotional opportunities. Partner with CPG/brand partners and merchants to build category specific promotional strategies. Identify and recommend programs and products to promote in marketing vehicles based on historical results.
