
Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Dollar Tree is looking for a passionate, forward-thinking, and highly experienced Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our organization’s efforts to create an inclusive and equitable culture, as well as fostering an environment that celebrates the diversity of our customers, employees, and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the growth and success of one of the nation’s leading retailers.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of diversity and inclusion and be committed to driving change and creating a culture of acceptance and respect. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating an inclusive environment and understands the importance of fostering understanding, collaboration, and respect among all members of our team. The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in a senior-level diversity, equity, and inclusion role. Experience in a large corporate environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead organizational efforts to create an inclusive and equitable culture.
- Foster an environment that celebrates the diversity of customers, employees, and partners.
- Understand and drive change to create a culture of acceptance and respect.
- Create an inclusive environment that fosters understanding, collaboration, and respect.
- Design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliant and equitable practices.
- Monitor and assess implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
- Provide guidance and advice to senior management on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Identify and assess potential areas of risk related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Develop and deliver diversity, equity, and inclusion training programs.
- Track and report progress on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
