  1. Assist Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including customer service, inventory management, and team leadership.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  3. Help maintain store appearance and ensure merchandise is displayed in an organized and visually appealing manner.
  4. Support Store Manager in managing inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and submitting orders as needed.
  5. Supervise and train team of associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and delivering exceptional customer service.
  6. Assist in scheduling and managing employee shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficient store operations.
  7. Monitor and track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  8. Collaborate with Store Manager to develop and implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean store environment, following all safety protocols and addressing any hazards or issues promptly.
  10. Foster a positive and productive work culture by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong work ethic among team members.
  11. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  12. Continuously strive to improve store operations and customer service by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  13. Serve as a brand ambassador for Dollar Tree, exemplifying the company's values and promoting a positive image to customers and the community.
  14. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members, ensuring they are properly onboarded and equipped to succeed in their roles.
  15. Act as a role model for team members, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Successful Assistant Store Manager At Dollar Tree Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Discount Store Environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Abilities, With The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team Of Employees Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Store Operations: A Thorough Understanding Of Store Operations, Including Inventory Management, Merchandising, And Customer Service, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Assistant Store Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Employees, So Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Dollar Tree Stores Can Be Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environments, So The Assistant Store Manager Should Be Able To Thrive In A Constantly Changing Environment And Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities At Once.
