Assistant General Counsel - Labor and Employment Litigation

In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while providing risk management advice and litigation support. 1. Provide legal guidance on labor and employment laws to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Provide risk management advice to mitigate potential legal risks.
3. Provide litigation support to the legal team.
4. Review and draft contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
5. Monitor changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.
6. Manage external counsel and coordinate with outside law firms as needed.
7. Manage the litigation process from pre-litigation through settlement or trial.
8. Research and analyze legal issues and provide advice to the business.
9. Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
10. Participate in settlement negotiations and other dispute resolution proceedings.
11. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
