Allocation Analyst

Dollar Tree is looking for an experienced Allocation Analyst to join our team! We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual who is excited to play an integral role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The Allocation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing merchandise assortment and inventory levels for assigned stores. This person will also assist in the development of new store layouts and inventory plans. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of retail or inventory analysis experience, as well as experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of retail allocation concepts, such as item forecasting, inventory management, and store clustering is essential. An understanding of SQL and/or other data analysis software is a plus. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze merchandise assortment and inventory levels for assigned stores.
2. Develop new store layouts and inventory plans.
3. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other data analysis software to analyze data.
4. Forecast inventory levels and store clustering.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and store layouts.
6. Monitor inventory levels to ensure efficient stock levels.
7. Create and provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of inventory plans.
