Systems Support Specialist

Repair, replace and troubleshoot LAN network equipment, PCs and mobile solutions for DFC and DFFNA end-users as required, in order to provide coverage for all business incidents and requests. Configure and assure all desktop and portable systems have been installed within the established SLAs, guidelines and policies, in order to prepare the equipment according to internal end user’s needs. Monitor and mitigate company IT security risk by participating in maintenance and provisioning of LAN equipment desktop, laptop and other mobile systems, working with Dole IT Security resources to monitor and improve IT security protocols in locations. Participate in infrastructure upgrade process by providing eyes and hands support for the project team in DFC and DFFNA locations. Analyze and communicate security events that raise the risk threshold to company personal computer systems or architecture, in order to collaborate in resolution of maintenance and security issues with properly designated parties.
