Quality Assurance Supervisor

Keep current on banana and pineapple postharvest technology and equipment, trends, changes, and modify materials as necessary to reflect current and necessary practices. Review, adjust and create training materials and information for internal distribution to keep department current and competitive. Assist in the training of team members and technical service representatives, based on quality trends and established procedures, inorder to have qualified staff. Perform quality inspections of bananas, plantains or pineapples and other Dole products as required and inspect warehouse conditions effecting fruit quality as well, to notify quality levels and avoid future customer complaints. Maintain the inventory of equipment and materials, monitoring the quantities of the products needed, in order to maintain inventory levels. Responsible for solving any request or incident that customer might have, following the quality standards established.
