Asset Protection Officer

Investigate and interview individuals suspected of shoplifting and internal theft in accordance with local, State, and Federal laws, as well as company procedures. Prepare investigative reports in a timely fashion for the Risk Manager, as well as working with the Human Resources Department and management of the area investigated for any personnel corrective action(s). To conduct surveillance and monitoring on donation sites or other facilities as needed. Act as liaison between the organization and vendor(s) responsible for site access, alarm monitoring and security cameras. Create associate awareness related to internal and external theft, operational deficiencies, and physical security.
