Sr. Principal Counsel- International Payments

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel on a variety of payments-related matters, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Possess a strong understanding of legal and regulatory issues in the international payments space.
- Negotiate and draft contracts.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Stay abreast of changes in payments, banking, or related financial services.
- Advise senior management on legal risk and compliance matters.
- Prepare and review legal documents, opinions, and memoranda.
- Represent Discover Financial Services in legal proceedings.
- Monitor industry trends and developments.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
