- Develop and drive the product vision and strategy for Discover Financial Services' AWS-based products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for AWS, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Lead and facilitate product planning, backlog refinement, and sprint planning meetings.
- Define and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and product features for development.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of product features.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track product metrics and KPIs.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, communicating product updates and progress regularly.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.
- Act as a customer advocate, ensuring that the product meets the needs and expectations of our target audience.
- Identify and resolve any product-related issues or roadblocks that may arise.

Experience With Aws: The Product Owner Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Aws Services And Be Familiar With The Platform's Capabilities. They Should Have Experience In Designing, Building, And Deploying Aws Solutions, And Be Able To Leverage Aws Services To Drive Business Outcomes.
Product Management Expertise: A Product Owner Should Have A Strong Background In Product Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Successful Products From Ideation To Launch. They Should Be Able To Gather And Analyze Customer And Market Insights To Determine Product Priorities And Make Strategic Decisions.
Agile Methodology Knowledge: Discover Financial Services Follows An Agile Development Methodology, And The Product Owner Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Agile Principles And Practices. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage A Product Backlog, Prioritize Features, And Align Product Roadmap With Business Goals.
Business Acumen: The Product Owner Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Understand The Impact Of Their Decisions On The Overall Business. They Should Have Experience In Conducting Market Analysis, Defining Product Strategies, And Managing Product Budgets.
