- Lead the development and implementation of people analytics strategies and initiatives to support business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to identify and prioritize key business questions and use data to provide actionable insights.
- Utilize advanced statistical and analytical techniques to analyze complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and KPIs related to the employee experience and organizational performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on people analytics, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven experiments and studies to inform HR and business decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Communicate complex data and insights in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences, including executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to streamline and improve data processes.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their analytical and communication skills.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to support people analytics projects and initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve people analytics tools, processes, and methodologies to ensure the team is delivering high-quality insights and recommendations.
- Adhere to all relevant data privacy and security policies and regulations.
- Represent Discover Financial Services as a thought leader in the field of people analytics at conferences and industry events.
Extensive Experience In People Analytics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Hr Data And Analytics, With At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In A People Analytics Role. They Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Statistical Methods And Be Able To Interpret Data To Drive Strategic Decisions.
Strong Business Acumen: As A Principal People Analytics Insight Partner, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Providing Insights And Recommendations To Senior Leaders At Discover. Thus, They Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Understand The Company's Goals And Objectives To Provide Relevant Insights.
Leadership And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires The Candidate To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Hr, Finance, And It. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Communicate And Work With Different Stakeholders.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: The Principal People Analytics Insight Partner Will Be Responsible For Presenting Complex Data And Insights To Senior Leaders And Stakeholders. As Such, They Should Have Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Convey Their Findings And Recommendations.
Advanced Degree In Hr, Statistics, Or Related Field: A Master's Degree In Hr, Statistics, Or A Related Field Is Often Preferred For This Role. This Demonstrates A Solid Foundation In Both Hr And Analytics, And The Candidate Should Have A Strong Academic Background In These Areas.
