
Principal Consumer Insights - User Experience Researcher
We at Discover Financial Services are looking for an experienced and motivated Principal Consumer Insights - User Experience Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and reporting on user research to create experiences that meet the needs of our customers. You will be a key member of our team, leading user research initiatives that provide insights to help shape the future of our products.The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated and creative individual with a strong aptitude for user research and a passion for product design. You should have experience leading research projects and conducting user interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability studies. You should also be comfortable with data analysis, be able to communicate effectively, and have strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research activities, such as focus groups, interviews, surveys, and usability studies, to uncover customer insights.
- Analyze data collected from user research activities to identify key trends and insights.
- Communicate research findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with product design teams to inform product design decisions.
- Stay up to date on user experience research best practices and tools.
- Develop a strategy for user research initiatives that meet the needs of our customers.
- Lead user research projects and manage research timelines.
- Develop and implement user research activities that measure customer satisfaction and usage metrics.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve user experience issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure user research activities are aligned with business objectives.
