Discover Financial Services is looking for a talented and highly motivated Manager, HR & Legal Issue Management to join our Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing a comprehensive HR and legal issue management program that supports our corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player with a strong work ethic.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role with a focus on legal and HR issue management is also required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the legal and HR landscape, including the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and implement a comprehensive HR and legal issue management program that supports corporate goals.
- Interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Optimize processes and systems for efficient and effective HR and legal issue management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and provide training and education to staff on legal and HR issues.
- Develop and monitor metrics to measure success of HR and legal issue management program.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
